People in los angeles take great pride in the beautiful lawns they have. It is a terrible feeling to see the hard work and money go down the drain due to an invading bunch of gophers. Piles of soil are sure indicators that you have a gopher problem. It can be taken care of a few differant ways. All are lethal. Trapping is one way, and the animal is humanely and quickly dispatched.At that point he is left in the hole to keep others from claiming the territory. The odor will keep others out because they are extremely territorial.
Poision will also work but doesn't show any results except the lack of indication. More suitable for agricultural gopher control.
