Happy 4th of July! But take special care of pets

For some of us the fire works are fun to watch. But dogs are for the m,ost part scared of the loud explosions. They break chains and even windows in an attempt to find somewhere safe. Tomorrow will be a dog catchers nightmare, as it is every year. Keep dogs lightly sedated durring the next 2 days with the advice of a licensedf veteranarian. Be sure windows and leashes are secure. Shot records and tags are up to date and worn, so there is no hold up when your dog is found. Tags should have name and telephone numbers to contact you also. Dogs will run for miles before being found, so if you are missing a pup on the 5th of july, check animal shelters in neighboring towns also.
